Community/Staff Survey of School Board Operations

The Wauwatosa School Board reviewed and discussed two surveys at the May 13 board meeting.  These surveys were developed to assist them with self-assessment and this information will be used in their annual board improvement/development activities.  The first survey will be taken by board members.

The second survey Community/Staff Survey of School Board Operations gives community members and staff the opportunity to provide input to the board.

The survey link will be open until Friday, June 7.

Open Enrollment

The Open Enrollment period for the 2013-2014 school year has now closed. Letters of acceptance/denial will be  postmarked by June 7, 2013.

School Safety

The School Board has formed a liaison subcommittee on school safety that includes board members Mary Jo F. Randall and Sharon Muehlfeld. The purpose of the committee is to help assess the safety of our schools and learn how the board can help this process. They will travel to every school to meet with students to discuss safety.

In addition to the meetings with students, the district will survey staff on safety and parents will be surveyed on school engagement.

Registration Information 2013-2014

Kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year will take place at the elementary schools.
