Two school board members and three community members are appointed annually by the School Board President to inform and represent the School Board on matters of local, state, and national concern. The Legislative Advocacy Committee (LAC) shall also receive direction from the School Board on pending legislative matters at a School Board Meeting. The term of Legislative Advocacy service is one year, from May through April.

In 2022, the Board of Education approved its biennial budget priorities for 2023-25.

Please use these resources to prepare your communications with legislators and to advocate for any or all of the priorities that are important to you and/or the Wauwatosa School District.

•  The EFW raises money and provides more than $30,000/year in grants to WSD educators and classrooms.
