The Wauwatosa School Board will meet for its first meeting of the month today, Monday, February 12, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Fisher Administration Building (12121 West North Ave.) in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. A link to join the meeting virtually via Zoom can be found here.
Immediately following the Call to Order, the Board will allow public comment in accordance with revised Policy 0167.3 - Public Comment at Board Meetings. Please note that this will be the only opportunity for public comment during the meeting.
Following Public Comment, the Board will review and vote on the Consent Agenda.
The Board will then be asked to approve the 2024-25 Capital Improvement Projects.
Next, the Policy Committee will bring forth the following policies for second readings and/or action to approve: 0164.3 - Virtual Meetings, 0166 - Agenda, 0167.5 - Use of Electronic Mail, 0167.6 - E-Mail - Public Records, 0175 - Association Memberships, 8325 - Receipt of Legal Documents by District Employees, 8420 - School Safety and 8550 - Competitive Food Sales, as well as the following policies for a first reading: 5120.01 - Assignment Within District for Non-Resident Students and 8451 - Pediculosis (Head Lice).
Finally, the Board Delegate will provide a report on the 2023 WASB State Education Convention.
