The Wauwatosa School Board will meet for its final meeting of the month on Monday, June 24, 2024. The meeting will be held at the Fisher Administration Building (12121 West North Ave.) in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by an Executive (Closed) Session. A link to join the meeting virtually via Zoom can be found here.
Immediately following the Call to Order, the Board will allow public comment in accordance with Policy 0167.3 - Public Comment at Board Meetings. Please note that this will be the only opportunity for public comment during the meeting.
Following Public Comment, the Board will review and vote on the Consent Agenda.
Next, the Board will review policies related to the recent Title IX updates. These policies are presented for information only and will be brought for a first reading at the July 8, 2024 Board meeting.
Following this, several policies will be presented to the Board as first readings:
Policy 5530 - Student Use or Possession of Intoxicants, Drugs, or Paraphernalia
Policy 5630.01 - Appropriate Use of Seclusion and Physical Restraint with Students
Then, the Board will adjourn into an Executive (Closed) Session to discuss and take action regarding administrator performance evaluations, the Superintendent’s 2023-24 salary and contract, and to review student expulsion orders issued by the Expulsion Hearing Panel.
Finally, the Board will adjourn.
