Wauwatosa School District is proud to announce that Wauwatosa West High School senior Lilly Murat has been named a QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship recipient. This prestigious program connects exceptional high school seniors with full four-year scholarships to the nation's top colleges. Lilly’s scholarship, valued at over $90,000 per year, covers tuition, room and board, books, and travel expenses, ensuring a fully funded college experience at Brown University, an Ivy League institution.
Selected from over 25,000 applicants nationwide, Lilly is one of just 2,627 students awarded this life-changing scholarship this year. The QuestBridge scholarship program recognizes students with outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities, and community involvement. The match scholarship partners with 52 of the nation’s top colleges to provide a comprehensive financial aid package for recipients.
Lilly’s achievement marks a historic milestone for Wauwatosa West High School as its first QuestBridge Scholar.
“Lilly is an extraordinary student whose hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence have paved the way for this incredible opportunity,” said Wauwatosa West High School Principal Corey Golla. “I have no doubt she will continue to achieve great things at Brown University and beyond.”
The QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship program Since 2003, QuestBridge has awarded over 17,000 students with scholarships, ensuring access to higher education without financial barriers. Lilly will join an esteemed network of QuestBridge Scholars and alumni, as well as Brown’s distinguished community of students and graduates.
“Earning this scholarship is not just a testament to Lilly’s academic abilities but also to her character and dedication,” Principal Golla added. “Her success is a reminder of the power of perseverance and the importance of educational opportunities.”
