What do you expect from your child’s Wauwatosa School District secondary school experience?
The Wauwatosa School District's Family Academic Advocacy Committee is a non-governing committee of parents and caregivers that partners with the Division of Academic Performance to help build a culture of academics and raise rigor for all students. Please attend this session to help us better understand:
What you want and expect from your child’s secondary school experience
What goals and concerns you have related to academic culture and rigor
How you currently interact with teachers and district staff around academic culture and what might be improved
How you view the rigor and homework your kids are receiving
This 75-minute session is your chance to provide input that will be used by our committee, the Division of Academic Performance and school leadership teams. You’ll interact with other parents and caregivers to brainstorm and document your goals and concerns, and your feedback will be turned into an actionable summary for school and district leaders. This session is for all parents and caregivers of students at the following schools on the following dates:
