Per the Notice, applications for Seat 7 will be accepted through Friday, August 16, 2024 at 4 p.m. The Board encourages individuals from all trades, professions, backgrounds, and careers to apply. Applicants who require accommodations should complete this form.
Applicants must submit a written, signed Notice of Interest by an Elector (see page three of the Notice of Intent) to Dr. Eric Jessup-Anger, School Board President at NoticeOfInterest@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us. The Notice of Interest may include an introductory letter, resume, and/or no more than three (3) letters of recommendation, and all documents must be submitted in PDF format.
The Board will execute the selection protocol on Monday, August 26, where candidates will appear in-person or virtually. Candidates will have up to ten minutes to provide an opening statement and answer the questions outlined on page two of the Notice of Intent.
The Board will vote, and the selected candidate will take their seat on the Board immediately that evening, and will serve until the next spring election, in April 2025. In April 2025, an election will be held to determine who will occupy Seat 7 through the balance of the term, which concludes in April 2026. Then, an election will be held in April of 2026 to determine who will occupy School Board Seat 7 for the next three-year term of 2026-2029.
