DSA Winners

On Tuesday, August 27, the Wauwatosa School District honored 26 staff members with its 2024 Distinguished Service Award during the annual Opening Day convocation.

Each year, Wauwatosa School District families, colleagues and students are invited to nominate staff members for the Distinguished Service Award, which honors those who go above and beyond expectations and demonstrate exemplary service and dedication. Nominees must have been employed by the Wauwatosa School District for at least three years and may receive the award no more than once every three years.

When making its decision, a committee of School Board members considers nominees’ demonstrated service to the District, distinguished by the excellence, quantity, and quality of accomplishments listed in the nominating paragraph, as well as the overall extent to which the person goes above and beyond normal expectations.

Award recipients were celebrated on stage at the convocation and received commemorative plaques. This year’s honorees include:
